Challenge
- modernization of overflow signalling systems in coal handling system at Siekierki CHP Plant in accordance with the requirements of ATEX Directive 114
- providing the necessary certificates confirming that the modernized installations meet the restrictive requirements of the explosion-proof standard
Solution
- execution of commissioned work as part of the installation modernization in accordance with the current standards
- delivery of 25 pieces of overflow signalling sirens for backfilling of coal handling system
- replacement of hitherto used level signalling devices with new devices compatible with the latest legal requirements and internal documents of the ordering party, within a strict deadline
- execution of all assembly works related to mechanical structures necessary for proper operation of equipment
- assembly, calibration and launch of signalling equipment
- commissioning of modernized devices and submitting as-built documentation

- improvement in reliability of technological equipment of the coal handling area
- increased fire safety
- improving the comfort of carburizing operation
